Right now we are driving back from a fabulous vacation in Hilton head, south Carolina. We spent over a week with my family and it really was perfect. And since i have nothing to do for the next 8 hours, here's some pictures of the trip from my phone...

Graduation

Mac and Gray have been attending Building Blocks Preschool at North Lexington Church of Christ. They have loved it there. All the teachers are volunteers and they truly love the kids. Sunday was Mac's preschool graduation and Gray's commencement program. Mac looked adorable in his graduation gown. He was so serious through the whole program. Gray could not have been happier than he was on stage. The songs were adorable, they have learned a lot this year and have made some great friends. Mac was pretty sad when he realized he would not be coming back to this preschool and will most likely never see his friends again...
 Mac and Jack best buddies
The boys in the class. Keaton (the teddy bear), Mac, Jack and Nico have been in the same class for the last 2 years. Mac's sure going to miss them.

 Drew, Chad and Annie

The 3 amigos- what is Gray going to do without them next year?!
Ivy, Lily and the boys.
It's been a great year, glad Gray will be back in a short 4 months!

Soccer

Sad that our soccer season was cut short- the boys were really getting the hang of it. After a year of watching Mac play soccer, g was ready to play. He loved it and is looking forward to next season...

The boys playing in between games...
Mac has never liked soccer until yesterday. It finally clicked and he played really well. He stole the ball at mid field, dribbled all the way to the goal and right before he kicked it in, his friend Lindsay ( who is on the same team) kicked it for him! Yay for team work!:)

and here's what Annie was doing during the game...

I just got my 4th blog book in the mail and it reminded me why I blog. I blog so when my kids are grown they can look back and see what their life was like and how much me and drew loved them. As I read the book all I felt was love for my family and I hope when they read it they feel the same way.
I also noticed that I only blogged the "highlights," the moments I want to remember. I don't blog about the times I yelled at the kids or was frustrated. I'll be honest, that happens more than I liked to admit but I want to focus on the positive aspects of our lives. And that's exactly what blogging has done for me- reminds me of the blessings and good times we've experienced because without it I seem to only remember the hard, disastrous times. Note to self- be more positive:) So here are some happenings that I want to remember...

Last weekend Drew and I were invited to go to a Reds game with one of the partners of his firm, 2 other associates and a client (NKU) of theirs. There was 20 of us all together. I do not look forward to these type of things. I'm an out going person but really it's kind of terrifying for me. But the night went great. We got to sit in the firms box and eat amazing food. I met the clients and got to know some more people Drew works with. Plus no kids for 7+ hours, I'm pretty sure that was a record.
Last night was our last run with Lora! Lora is moving to Arizona on Monday and she will be missed. We started our running group 3 years ago. Over the years we've gained runners and lost some- mostly do to pregnancies, but Lora was our constant. Since it was her last night, after our run we sat and talked until almost 11:00pm. The running is great but the friendship is why I do it.
Some inside joke:)

Mac was sick at his last soccer game but he was a trooper and tried to play...

My view out side my kitchen window

It's a rare night that it's only drew and i in our bed. G has been coming in around 2:30 every night lately. It's a cute sight to wake up to...
