Santa train

 

The Saturday before Christmas we took a ride on the Santa train. The boys were excited to go on their first real train ride but an hour into it they were done. And sweet little Annie screamed at the first sight of Santa and never really relaxed enough to enjoy the train ride. While the boys were visiting with Santa I took Annie to the other side of the train until she settled down and Santa left.

You would think Mac would love feeding animals but he's terrified. We made him feed the wallaby.

We started potty training Annie for the mere fact she would not wear a diaper. She now will wear a diaper and go to the bathroom on the toilette so we will start the real potty training after Christmas

Phone update

Here's a random update from all the pictures on my phone...

November was a big month for us- we successfully started AND followed through with a job chart! Every day that the boys cleaned the playroom and their bedroom, they got a sticker. On Saturdays we added an extra job- bathroom, laundry or yard work. At the end of the month they got paid .25 cents for every sticker they had!They only missed 3 days all month.

It's been a busy month for Drew. Lot's of faceTime dates...

Annie is our little mom around here and changing dolly diapers is her specialty.

We started a new tradition this year. The kids open a Christmas book every night.

Mac sleep walks/ talks almost every night. It's pretty funny and pretty annoying.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

It's really warm here and it does not feel like Christmas time at all! while we are enjoying not having to wear coats, we want SNOW and it doesn't look like we are going to get any! So one afternoon I sat down and made like a billion snowflakes! Whenever Gray opens the curtains he screams "it's snowing!!!" And then laughs and laughs! The paper snowflakes will do for now but by Christmas we better have the real stuff!
