Girls camp 2015?

I was fortunate to be apart of girls camp. Last fall I was called to be the stake assistant camp director. Months and months of planning and it was all worth it. I loved spending the week camping with Walt and the women and girls of the Lexington stake. This calling has been my hardest yet but the one I've loved the most. I met amazing women and girls that forever changed me. I can't wait to go again next year.

My tent- the bullfrogs serenaded me and Walt to sleep every night. Camping with Walt was just what i thought it would be- very little sleeping. But how can you be grumpy spending  a week here?

Early morning scripture reading
Syncranized water guns were a hit
Eating lunch on our hike. Views for days.
Some Tate's creek girls
On Friday it  rained and rained.
Most of the time Walt was on my back or I was carrying him- the only way he would sleep. Luckily there were amazing leaders and friends that would hold him and rock him to sleep too. Like Shauna (picture below)

Girls camp will always have a special place in my heart.

Happy birthday G

The Because I was going to girls camp on Monday June 15 we celebrated G's birthday a day early. I asked g what kind of cake he wanted and he got super excited which scared me, I was thinking it was going to be an intense cake. He said a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and sprinkles!!!! I love how easy this boy is! Happy with just about anything. For his birthday he got some more gym clothes- cause that's all this boy will wear and  more Pokemon cards.

Gray at 7 is easy going until he's not:) loves playing tag, anything with a ball and playing with his friends especially our neighbor Joseph. He's loves working with numbers, time, dates, ages, price of things and is quick to do the math. Oh and gray still loves his sleep and needs a lot of  it! We love you G!
While I was at girls camp drew made gray's birthday dreams come true by driving to jelly stone. They rented a golf cart, swam, played miniature golf and jumped in the blimp. They had an absolute blast and drew got best husband/ dad award!

Bike Lexington

After almost ten years of hearing about bike Lexington we finally participated in it!  Once a year the city shuts down 8 miles of down town and let's bikers, bike on the main roads. It starts and ends at the court house. We didn't know how long the ride was until we started it. We were so impressed with our kids, especially Annie who biked with little complaining. It was a beautiful really ride and the perfect way to explore Lexington.

A morning out in our neighbors family farm.

6 months old

Oh how we love this little guy! At 6 months he weighs 18 lbs. He still isn't sleeping through the night and is not a fan of solid foods. He's happy all day and  is my first baby not to have stranger danger.

Sister momma

This baby boy is such a happy boy until night time. Lots and lots of crying at night. There were a few early morning (like 5 am early) that he just would stop crying. The minute I took him outside to watch the rainstorm he stopped crying. These summer storms came at the right time.

Saying goodbye

I've been dreading this day for the past year. Jacklyn is my friend that I could hang out with everyday for a week and then not see her for a week and that's ok. The friend who after hanging out, we call each other on her way home so we could finish our conversation. The friend who doesn't need plans or a heads up she's up for just about anything. The friend who's fun to eat with, workout with...The friend whose kids are like my kids. She was my go to... And saying goodbye was painful and horrible and I miss her... How's that for mushy?!

Nancy came down for one last girls night. I love these ladies!

Sweet Candace moved too-  5 days after having her 3rd baby. It feels like everyone just left for the summer, come fall, it'll feel like saying goodbye to them all over again!
Candace and jacklyns last day in Pam's class. Candace had her baby later that night- she's a rockstar! Love these ladies
