So we still need a crib. We are not quite ready to put Mac in a big boy bed so Gray is still in the pack and play which is set up in our walk in closet. That sounds so bad but it's a big closet. The crib will be where Gray is laying.
The pictures make the colors look a little muted but I love this room because a lot of hard work went into it. The border took forever but well worth it. 2nd I refinished this dresser (no before pic). I still need pictures in the frames. I made the growth chart in the corner. (first picture)
Last but not least, I refinished the glider and foot stool. Kristen and Debbie will recognize this rocker. Here's the before...

Today I was at story time with some friends venting about this glider and not being able to figure out how to reupholster it and make it look good. For most people this would be an easy task and I too thought it would be but I'm not a seamstress at all and it took some effort to make it look like it wasn't home made.Anyway I came home with some of their ideas and I'm happy to say that all my hard work paid off. I love it! ps the chair is tan not pink. My mom called and asked me why I did a pink chair, so I guess on some computers it looks pink but it's not. It's just plain tan.
Funny that we put all this work into it and Gray isn't even ready to move in.

The room looks great! Are you sure the height chart is tall enough? ;-) The way he is growing you may need it taller! Terance coached a kid in middle school that was in the 8th grade & 6'5". That may be your boys someday! :-)
