Our little Man

Mac is growing up so fast. Here's a little update....

He had enough of the cold.

Drew had to dress up as a policeman for a ward activity so we went to the dollar store and bought a policeman package. Mac loved these glasses. Everyday he finds them and brings them to me to put them on him
Mac is truly a daddy's boy. Just a couple of weeks ago he decided that Drew was his favorite and wants very little of me. I have to be honest, the break has been nice but I do miss it a little.Mac is getting so tall. He can reach most things on the counter, it's an issue. I caught him stealing more mini banana muffins.

About a boy

I haven't done a tag for awhile, but when Jenni tagged me I thought this one looked fun.

The tag is suppose to be about Drew but it turns out it's about us....

How long have you been together? we've been together 4 years this May
How long did you date? We dated for 6 months and engaged for 3. Super fast.
How old is he? 25
Who eats more? Drew, he can eat more than anyone I have met. It can be pretty gross.
Who said I love you first? He did.
Who is taller? Drew, he's 6'6" and I'm not.
Who can sing better? Definitely Drew. But I sing more.
Who is smarter? Drew...but that's not saying much.
Who does the dishes? Both, if I do big meals he does all the dishes.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do, it's closer to the bathroom.
Who mows the lawn? Some old guy...we don't ask questions.
Who pays the bills? I do except for the car insurance.
Who cooks dinner? I do, unless we want canned tuna over noodles (nasty)
Who is more stubborn? Me
Who kissed who first? He kissed me on our first date, I wouldn't have let him but he had a mustache...a handle bar mustache.
Who asked who out first? He did.
Who proposed? Drew was patient, and waited 3 months for me to be ok with idea of marriage. Sunday I said, "I'm ready, lets get married." We went out that week and picked out my ring and then he proposed a week later. A perfect Thanksgiving present.
Who is more sensitive? Me. A few examples: 1) Whenever I am feeling sick due to pregnancy he tells me to "walk it off." 2) When I get homesick he suggests that I move home with my parents. 3) When I say "I feel ugly today" he says "that makes sense because you look ugly today." Just kidding Drew's super sensitive, he just never cries.
Who has more siblings? Drew, he has 5, I have 4.
Who wears the pants? Drew does everyday...I do every day except for Sunday (I like to wear a dress or skirt to church)...oh wait, Drew wears shorts sometimes too...does that count? (Drew answered this...apparently he is not familiar with the expression. I wear the pants.)

I tag: Cheryl J., Roo M., Jillian O., Alyssa B. & Aubrey S. (You don't have to do it, but it was actually fun.)

Without a doubt it's a....

Today we had another ultrasound and this time he wasn't afraid to show us that he was a little BOY!!!! Everything looked great. Yes, this one has a big head too and is measuring a little big for the dates, but we wouldn't expect anything else from our babies. We are so excited to have two little boys that will only be 20 months apart.

22 weeks pregnant

Happy Birthday Natty!!!

Today is my younger sisters 22nd Birthday!!! Natalee is the most supportive sister anyone could have. She flew out when I had Mac and I don't think she has ever missed one of my brothers games, unless there was a dang good reason. She's always there if you need her. We love you and wish we could be there to celebrate your 22nd Birthday!

Here's to 3 years!

I can't believe today we are celebrating our 3 year wedding anniversary. I know 3 years isn't a long time but it sure feels like it (it's a good thing). So much has happened to us in such a short amount of time. We have traveled to 8 countries and 14 states together. We are on our third pregnancy and finishing up our third year of law school. We have moved 4 times (3 times too many). We have the most wonderful little boy who makes us happier than we could have dreamed.

Drew, I couldn't imagine doing any of this without you. I love you so much!!! Here's to 3 years and many more to come!

Our New Toy and Happy Birthday!

Yesterday I got a package from my parents. In it was all our Chirstmas gifts that we couldn't fit in our suitcases and some other fun things. The one thing that I was most excited about was the gift that Drew's grandmother got us, The Swivel Sweeper. Really, this is the best invention. It vacuums on hard floors, carpets, rugs, basically any surface. It's quiet and it's easy to get in tight places and nice for small messes that you don't want to pull out the vacuum or broom to clean. But the best thing is that Mac loves it. He's totally terrified of the big vacuum but he thinks the Swivel Sweeper is a toy. Today I just turned it on and let Mac loose and I came back to a clean swept/vacuumed kitchen and I didn't even have to lift a finger. I know I'm a nerd and officially a house wife but this product is so great!

He had this look on his face whenever I asked him if he was having fun. He was so excited.

Happy birthday Roo (sister inlaw)! If I would have known how great the Swivel Sweeper was I would have gotten it for your birthday. Now you'll just have to settle for the gift that is on it's way:) We hope you have a fantastic day!

MaC's LoVeS

So this post will probably bore most of you but since I don't scrapbook and I'm slacking with my journal writing this is my record of our lives. Mac, like me LOVES to be outside even if it's just hanging out in our backyard
A new love is chocolatechip cookies. I have tried to keep this away from Mac as long as I could but one day he reached up on the counter and snatched one. He was so giddy and proud of himself I couldn't take it away from him. I didn't know cookies could be so messy.
My little Linus. He loves his blanket my mom made him. He can't sleep without it and after his naps he drags it around until he's fully awake.
The minute I step away from the computer Mac moves in and takes over the keyboard For some reason Mac loves to scratch Drew's back. He laughs and talks to Drew the whole time. It's pretty cute.

Dancing infront of the mirror keeps us all entertained.
* HELP....So I'm getting to the point that normal jeans are not comfortable, let's be honest, I haven't buttoned my top of my jeans since Christmas, but I hate maternity pants. Has anyone found a pair of maternity pants that they love or work? If so please share, what type of pannel, style, ect...
