Our New Toy and Happy Birthday!

Yesterday I got a package from my parents. In it was all our Chirstmas gifts that we couldn't fit in our suitcases and some other fun things. The one thing that I was most excited about was the gift that Drew's grandmother got us, The Swivel Sweeper. Really, this is the best invention. It vacuums on hard floors, carpets, rugs, basically any surface. It's quiet and it's easy to get in tight places and nice for small messes that you don't want to pull out the vacuum or broom to clean. But the best thing is that Mac loves it. He's totally terrified of the big vacuum but he thinks the Swivel Sweeper is a toy. Today I just turned it on and let Mac loose and I came back to a clean swept/vacuumed kitchen and I didn't even have to lift a finger. I know I'm a nerd and officially a house wife but this product is so great!

He had this look on his face whenever I asked him if he was having fun. He was so excited.

Happy birthday Roo (sister inlaw)! If I would have known how great the Swivel Sweeper was I would have gotten it for your birthday. Now you'll just have to settle for the gift that is on it's way:) We hope you have a fantastic day!

I love it! The best toys are always the one's that aren't meant to be toys... boxes, keys, wooden spoons, toothbrushes, and now swivel sweepers! Ha,ha. Last Sunday we cracked up as we saw a couple in front of us get "Toys" out of the diaper bag for thier little girl. They unloaded toothbrushes, woodenspoons, and some other household items! Their little girl loved it.

I am still laughing at Mac's happy face. What a cutie. I swear we shouldn't waste our money on toys. We should just open up the closet and give them everyday useful items. Think about how clean our houses might be then!!

It is crazy how much he has grown, from the picture with me and now, he is running around and talking. I love it. It makes me excited to see Lucy grow, but on the swap side it is nice to set her on the couch and then walk away and not worry.

I love that pic of Mac. Ty a "goofy face" when he was little, all squished and stuff. SO fun!
