MaC's LoVeS

So this post will probably bore most of you but since I don't scrapbook and I'm slacking with my journal writing this is my record of our lives. Mac, like me LOVES to be outside even if it's just hanging out in our backyard
A new love is chocolatechip cookies. I have tried to keep this away from Mac as long as I could but one day he reached up on the counter and snatched one. He was so giddy and proud of himself I couldn't take it away from him. I didn't know cookies could be so messy.
My little Linus. He loves his blanket my mom made him. He can't sleep without it and after his naps he drags it around until he's fully awake.
The minute I step away from the computer Mac moves in and takes over the keyboard For some reason Mac loves to scratch Drew's back. He laughs and talks to Drew the whole time. It's pretty cute.

Dancing infront of the mirror keeps us all entertained.
* HELP....So I'm getting to the point that normal jeans are not comfortable, let's be honest, I haven't buttoned my top of my jeans since Christmas, but I hate maternity pants. Has anyone found a pair of maternity pants that they love or work? If so please share, what type of pannel, style, ect...

Those pictures are so cute! I am sad to say that I could not find cute maternity pants anywhere....well without paying a fortune for something I hated and was going to where 5 times:] I finally came to the conclusion of wearing ugly pants and i was disgusted everytime I looked in the mirror:] I wish you the best of luck and would love to know if you find some cute ones! I think it may be time for a picture of that growing belly!

Hey Ashley, this is Sami's friend Brittany. We are living in TN and when the tornadoes hit us I thought of you guys because Sami mentioned you lived in Kentucky. I hope you are all okay! Best maternity pants ever...7's for all mankind. My sister's own a maternity store. Even if you don't buy from their store at least you can see cute maternity jeans. Expectedmaternity.com Another great brand is Momzee. They don't have a panel at all, just a stretch sort of thing in the back that is hidden. So cute, and fit right underneath the belly. Good luck!

Mac is getting so big, he looks so cute in his hat. Good luck with the pant hunt.

I really and honestly wore my regular jeans and pants my whole pregnancy because I couldn't find any maternity pants that I liked. I just used a rubberband and looped it around the button and through the hole. It worked so well and I could continue to wear my favorite jeans and pants. It's all preference though... I love the hat Mac is wearing in the first picture. WAY cute!

I love those kind of pictures...not boring at all. And for the jean issue - have you used bella bands? Google it - they work like a charm over any normal pair of jeans. I only wore 2 pairs of maternity jeans with Taylor and to be honest they were insanely expensive b/c they were the only cute ones!! I bought the citizen of humanity maternity jeans and a pair of khakis from GAP. Do you have a BabyStyle in KY? They have great ones. And, just like everyone else - I'm wondering if the tornados affected you at all? I'm guessing not since you wouldn't be blogging a shelter or something! HA!

So obviously the tornados didn't get us. Most of the tornados that hit Kentucky are in south west part of the state:) Lexington is located in the middle of the Kentucky surrounded by rolling hills, so tornados rarely hit here. The last couple of days the news issued tornado watches and high wind storms but nothing hit us. We see the flashing banner accross our telivion so much that we never pay attention to it until the tornado warning goes off. We do have wind damgae throughout Lexington but no one was killed, thank goodness. Thanks for all of your concerns!

Cute pictures, he is so cute I miss you guys. I bought some pants at Old Navy, it had the "real waist" waistband, no panel...elastic on the back...very comfortable. Just sits under the belly and has the elastic, the bigger you get they still fit. You find then on sale alot of the time. I don't know if Gap has any like it. GOod luck.

Karrissa,

It's a Nikon D40 SLR. I love it, I'm still learning how to use it but I'll never go back to a point and shoot.

Jen,

We are flying home March 6. I think giving Christie a shower souds great. She works in the old Word perfect building so it's easy to do a lunch date. Have you seen her lately?

Ash! You make me sick... you're family is so adoreable!!! I love this post. I can't believe how big Mac is getting. If Paul sees the pics of Mac scratching Drew's back he'll probably start trying to teach Jonas that "back scratches are cool" or something like that!
