Easter Week

The boys have learned that when a holiday comes around so do the packages on our doorstep. This year we were planning on meeting Ry and Roo for Easter weekend but it just didn't work out. Mac kept saying "oh, Lucy will love finding this" or "when are we going to see Lucy?" I had to break it to him that we weren't seeing them this year but to make things a little better Roo and Lucy sent an Easter package for the kids filled with candy and sunglasses....

they were a hit!!!
Saturday morning we went to a friends house for an Easter Egg hunt in their backyard. But it rained and rained and rained!!! so the hunt was held in their basement....

Later that day we went to RIO. Both boys insisted on siting on Drew's lap and I don't think I have ever heard Mac laugh so hard. After, we hit up McDonalds so we could add more RIO toys to our collection.

Easter Sunday.....

the boys found little "pound guys (handful of heroes)" and cars in the eggs instead of candy. They also found little wrapped gifts- spider man shoes, junior Yahtzee, swords, and keys- is it just my boys or do other kids love taking pictures of their toys?
I didn't get any pictures of their cute outfits (thanks mom) Sunday morning cause I thought I had enough time to shower, get ready, make and frost sugar cookies, make breakfast and get the kids ready. Ya, we were late for church and no pictures were taken:(. My favorite part of the day was watching the Lamb of God with my Young women. It reminded me why we celebrate this holiday. We had a wonderful Easter.

These months have flown and Annie is growing like a weed! Doesn't she look so old in her bumbo?

Mr. Dependent

If Mac had it his way everyone would do everything for him but today it hit an all time low....

Mac: "Mom a pickle is on my shirt, get it!"
Me: "Mac I can't, you can do it. Pick it off your shirt and put it in your happy meal!"
Mac: "I can't! please mom!"
Me: "Nope! sorry!"
Mac: "Hey Ike, can get this pickle off my shirt?"

Yes, sometimes it's annoying doing all the little things for Mac that he should be doing himself but one day I'll miss it! I'll even miss him waking up in the middle of the night wanting to cuddle or maybe I wont. One things for sure, I love my Mac!

Annie girl

Some random pics of Annie cause apparently, she's the only one I take pictures of these days.

"talking" to mom
She coos and ahhs all day long and is happiest when standing on my lap.

Words can't describe how much we love our little Annie Girl!
