Fall is here!!!

Today we went to Evan's Orchard with some friends. The kids didn't have school today so there was a big group of us which always makes for a fun time. I picked Jen and Jack up, and after getting lost, found the orchard. we unloaded the kids and let them loose. Oh wait, mine doesn't leave my side. So I took Mac around while Jen sat with Gray. We saw the goats, went down the slide, swang, and climbed the hay castle. after we all went and picked apples. Mac comfortably rode in the wagon with Anna Claire. We did all this while Gray sat peacefully in his car seat. Then we ended with a hot dog and fresh apple cider. So good! It was a Great morning.

Is it bad to want to betroth Mac and Anna?:) She is so adorable and love the family. Hillary pulled Mac and Anna Claire around in the wagon. They shared chips and threw freshly picked apples. Too cute.

Mac was too busy eating his chips and not watching where he was going and got snagged by a couple of branches. One of the scratches started at the brim of his nose and ended at his ear. Poor guy, he didn't even cry.

Hi Ashlee!
This is Maren from your home ward. I found your blog because a girl moved into my ward that knows Rachel (Shaw), and had a link to Rachel's blog who had a link to your blog (what a small world when it comes to blogging!). I thought I would take a peek and see how your family is doing.

You have the cutest family! It sounds like things are going well for you in Kentucky. We are liking things here in Missouri. Take care!

I have never heard of this place, but might need to check it out. It looked like so much fun. We have only gone to Boyd's, and I did go to Double Stink Hog Farm (I love the name) with Josh and Matt's preschool class a few years ago. I love fall, going to pumpkin patches and the cooler weather. Friday was the first day taht it actually felt a bit cool. I say, bring it on! It will be strange to have my Halloween decoration out while I'm inside sweating in the heat.

Oh, and I'd say you are one smart girl to try to arrange a marriage between Mac and Anna Claire. She's a keeper. Beautiful and a great family. Can't top that!

I can't tell you how jealous I am of all that Fall fun. It is beautiful here in Utah but I have yet to find I farm that you can pick your own pumpkins and have a hayride! Glad you had fun!
