I just got my 4th blog book in the mail and it reminded me why I blog. I blog so when my kids are grown they can look back and see what their life was like and how much me and drew loved them. As I read the book all I felt was love for my family and I hope when they read it they feel the same way.
I also noticed that I only blogged the "highlights," the moments I want to remember. I don't blog about the times I yelled at the kids or was frustrated. I'll be honest, that happens more than I liked to admit but I want to focus on the positive aspects of our lives. And that's exactly what blogging has done for me- reminds me of the blessings and good times we've experienced because without it I seem to only remember the hard, disastrous times. Note to self- be more positive:) So here are some happenings that I want to remember...

Last weekend Drew and I were invited to go to a Reds game with one of the partners of his firm, 2 other associates and a client (NKU) of theirs. There was 20 of us all together. I do not look forward to these type of things. I'm an out going person but really it's kind of terrifying for me. But the night went great. We got to sit in the firms box and eat amazing food. I met the clients and got to know some more people Drew works with. Plus no kids for 7+ hours, I'm pretty sure that was a record.
Last night was our last run with Lora! Lora is moving to Arizona on Monday and she will be missed. We started our running group 3 years ago. Over the years we've gained runners and lost some- mostly do to pregnancies, but Lora was our constant. Since it was her last night, after our run we sat and talked until almost 11:00pm. The running is great but the friendship is why I do it.
Some inside joke:)

Mac was sick at his last soccer game but he was a trooper and tried to play...

My view out side my kitchen window

It's a rare night that it's only drew and i in our bed. G has been coming in around 2:30 every night lately. It's a cute sight to wake up to...
