Wednesday night Jed and Drew's mom Rita flew in and we couldn't have been happier. Thursday morning Jed went with Drew to two classes. After that, we all went to Taylor Made horse farm. One of our good friends is a Vet there and he gave us the grand tour. The air was crisp and the leaves were colorful! It was a perfect afternoon.

A couple of months ago, to congratulate Drew on getting the job in town, Kevin (friend who is a Vet) gave Drew one of Fleet Indian's bridles. Drew's really is obsessed with horse racing.
Friday we went to the race track for more horses:)

Saturday we had our annual ward Trunk or Treat. Mac dressed up as a dragon. Throughout the night Mac would get scared and start crying. Some of the kids were dressed a little scary!

So fun! Trunk or Treat is always a learning experience those first few years. Let's hope they cactch on by next year. I still can't believe that's your new home...sad b/c I won't see you forever! We are going to Utah for Thanksgiving, but not Christmas. We are staying home for that. We'll both a few more rugrats the next time we see each other. Ahhh...thank heaven for blogs.
How cute is Mac! I want to see him in person. I know when you come to town there is so much family to see but maybe if you get a minute we could do lunch? Let me know!

Mac did look so darling in his costume, but Drew totally picked the wrong van for the prize. I bet he just read Smith on accident instead of Jackson! I even tried to bribe him with candy!
I saw Drew's brother at church and guessed that they were related. I am so glad you got visitor again it's so fun.
I was driving out to Boyd's Orchard (Rich is on call and I took the kids for FHE. As I was driving I thought I've got to tour a horse farm sometime. I'll have to talk to Kevin and get the same tour!
And I was shocked when I read Christmas is 6 weeks away. Oh my. I had better get shopping!
theres nothing better then visitors when you live away from home!!! the halloween costume on mac is so cute and i would have to say i like the lamb chops best on the facial hair trial. i just wish matt could grow some facial hair, still love the kid though.
