He's on the Run

Mac is everywhere. As I mentioned before he started walking at the end of November but really took off while we were in Utah. The minute Mac wakes up he's running/walking around the house. Finding new things and following me around undoing everything I've done. It's been a challenge trying to constantly baby proof the house and clean up after him. Yesterday I think I rerolled three rolls of toilet paper along with cleaning up many more disasters but I wouldn't change it for the world. He is so happy and is really coming into his own.

Even though the weather hasn't been so nice we have been going outside for our daily fresh air. By the time the garage door opens Mac is already half way down the driveway. The whole time we are outside all Mac does is walk up and down the driveway talking to himself trying to avoid me and my new toy. Thanks Mom and Dad for the new camera, as you can tell we love it!

This is Mac's new glare. He was mad that I told him we had to go inside. I also get the glare: when I find Mac doing something bad, when I say don't, when I catch him biting, when I ask him to whisper, when I tell him lunch is over, pretty much whenever I do or tell him something he doesn't like. But how do you get mad at this face? I find myself constantly laughing when Mac is around. He's oozing with personality.

So I am pretty sure he is my favorite! Jack is starting to glare and headbutt when I tell him no, I don't know what to do. It really doesn't help that it is cute when they do stuff like that. It looks like you are busy busy!

He is so cute and growing up so fast!

Thanks so much for helping me sneak out of nursery on Sunday. If you had not been there, I would have been in serious trouble!

And I loved visiting with you at the VT interviews. We'll have to get out with the kids sometime (when it warms up). Have you ever been to the Explorium? Mac would love it and I could get you in on my pass for free. Think about it!

Seriously- he is so adorable! I hate when then start walking because nothing else interests them- at least McKinley didn't even like toys because she just wanted to walk around! So fun though, he is such a big boy now!

Mac seems like such a happy kid, lucky you! And I just love when kids do things that you should be mad about but instead you have to laugh. It makes you put things into perspective. Love the glare!

Ash,
I don't know how you do it all! You are always so put together, and do such a great job with everything at your house, not to mention keeping up with Mac being pregnant and being a supportive wife through law school. One word... "WOW!" We miss you guys. Hope all continues to go well.
Love,
Andrea
