Bear Lake

went boating
Played Bocci

Went to the Raspberry days parade. Mac loved the animals from a distance and absolutely hated the llamas
Mac learned a new word...Shark, and is now obsessed with them
I thought Mac would enjoy the ride but he hated it. He screamed the whole time.
Grandma even went for a ride with
Ryan
The boys played frisbee and football. They were all sore the rest of the trip.

Idaho
We have been in Utah for two and a half weeks already. The time has flown. We just got back from a weekend trip to Nampa Idaho to see Drew's family. In two days we went to Jaime's reception, Jazz's bridal shower, a Davis family party, a Millar family breakfast, and worked in grandma's D's garden. It was a blast.
Jed and Drew working in Grandma's backyard
Mac picked his first tomato, it was a still green but he took a bite out of it anyway
Weeding the garden
At the breakfast Mac swam and tried on Risa's pink helmet. It was a hit.

Summer time
At mine and Drew's wedding dinner Rita told a story about Drew as a toddler wearing a stocking hat while riding his three wheeler up and down the street in the middle of the hot summer. Well, like father like son. Mac has been wearing this stocking hat, that we accidentally stole from my cousin, all week. He has a million hats but he chooses to wear this one. I love that he doesn't pull it all the way down and that it's an adult size and it fits his big head.
I was watering the plants and Mac was whining so I started spraying him with hose. I know, borderline abusive but he loved it. So I put the sprinklers on and watched him run through them for a half an hour. Yes, I was too lazy to put him in a swimsuit.
Nat came out to help me while Drew was taking the bar(so glad it's over). She flew in Sunday night and is leaving today. This week we repainted the coffee table red, ran errands, and poor Nat did a lot of babysitting. I had doctor appointments to go to and other relief society visits and Drew and I had a work party to attend. It was so nice not to have to drag Mac everywhere. She was SO helpful with the boys. The only bad thing is I had more time to sit around and eat. I wish we had her around all the time. As you can tell in this picture Mac loved having her too.

Story Time with Friends
One of our favorite things to go to is Story Time. Mac and I both love it. The librarian does such a great job getting the children to participate. She started out with some songs and then read three books. After every song and story Mac would stand up and clap and cheer. After we usually just read some books and play with the puzzles, but this time I invited my friend Ashlee and her two boys (Ben & Tyler). Ben and and Mac are three months apart and they play so well together. After story time they ran around, wrestled in the story pit and pulled each other on the horse / fought over the horse:). With only a few tears, story time was a success.

One month old
Today Gray is a month old. I can't tell you how fast time has gone by. At his two week check up he weighed 10.02 lbs. and was 21.5 inches long. I'm sure by now he's gained at least another pound or two. I'm so glad that he's healthy and growing but he's already changing too much. I wish I could pause everything and just enjoy having him be a newborn. Maybe our next will stay smaller longer. I doubt it.
Poor Gray, Mac is obsessed with kissing and holding him. When he wakes up in the morning the first thing he does is give Gray hugs and kisses and every time he walks by Gray he kisses him. It's great that Mac loves Gray but his loves can mistakingly look like violent acts. We have to keep a watchful eye on Mac at all times.

One room down...
Drew and I have been busy. We've painted the kitchen, Mac's room, and Gray's room. But Mac's is the only one that is totally put together. It's extremely simple but we love it.
You might be thinking Mac's hair is wet because he just got out of the bath or ran through sprinklers; well, your wrong. Mac found a can of Fabreez air freshener and sprayed it all over himself. His hair and clothes were soaked. Even after a shower he reaked of imitation melon.
